Protecting hilly and mountainous areas
Asuca Fuyui Co., Ltd. actively promotes agricultural experiences by communicating the region’s
rich natural environment and works to protect mountain agriculture by fostering exchanges with
urban residents.
Protecting a prosperous region
We believe that as traditional sake brewers, by joining hands with farmers to provide rice
planting and sake brewing experiences to cultivate fans, we can help protect our rich region
surrounded by clean water and greenery, where fireflies dance and loaches, stream crabs, and
salamanders live.
Our motto is ”Local farmland protected by local people”
Uchigamaki Kizuna, an agricultural producers’ cooperative corporation, is a group of professional
farmers in Uchigamaki, Kawai District, Ojiya City, who have come together under the conviction
of “protecting the community by protecting the farmland.”
Producing safe and trusted sake rice
In response to growing environmental concerns and the demand for safe agricultural products, we
produce safe and trusted sake rice by reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides
through JGAP (quality assurance based on production process control) and implementing farming
management practices that are highly effective in preserving biodiversity.
